PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:  XP Compound is an aggressive low swirl, leveling compound designed to remove moderate-to-heavy surface imperfections. Perfect for acid rain spots, clearcoat scratches and heavy oxidation. Clearcoat safe. May be applied by hand or a variable speed polisher. Works well with wool or foam cutting pads. Body Shop Safe. 
VOC Compliant. 

DIRECTIONS:  For hand application, use a wax applicator in overlapping, back-and-forth motions. Remove with a soft, terry towel. For machine application, apply to a small area and buff at medium rpm with a wool pad or low rpm with a foam pad to desired results. Remove excess with a soft, terry towel.

SURFACE APPLICATIONS:  XP compound is designed for use on all types of paints, including clearcoat, enamel, acrylic and single stage.

RECOMMENDED USE:  XP compound will perform best at low speeds, between 1,400 and 1,800 RPM. Only moderate-to-medium pressure should be applied to the buffer.

ADDITIONAL USES:  XP Compound is very effective for removing 1,000 grit sand paper marks, heavy acid rain and water spots, car wash lines and oxidation.

FOLLOW-UP PRODUCTS:  XP Compound is designed for use in a two-step, compound/polish application. Products like #88 XP Polish or #76 GS-1 produce a high gloss and a durable finish to previously compounded surfaces. For body shop use, follow-up with #77 BC-1 or #50 New Car Glaze. For best results apply a wax or sealant add a third step to ensure maximum shine durability. Use products such as #10 Paint Sealant, #15 E-Z Paste, #22 Wet Wax®, #70 Seal-It® or #78 BC-2.

HELPFUL TIPS:  Use #49-Body Shine® to keep surface of the paint cool and wet. This procedure will reduce swirls and add gloss.
